Communication is the exchange of ideas (or feelings) and information between people. It can take place through various forms such as speech, writing, signs and behaviors. Effective communication occurs when receivers understand the exact idea/information that the sender intended to send.
Our podcasting project will target international audiences from diverse cultural background. We will need to make sure the audiences (receivers) understand our message that we intended to convey. So from this project, I expect to learn how to communicate effectively with people over the world.

I am sure that your Podcasting Project will be successful since you are really trying to think about how to best communicate with people across a variety of different backgrounds.

I find that lots of people limit their thoughts on communications to words when other aspects (especially signs and behaviors) contribute to how effectively one gets his or her point across. I'm sure that our project will help us learn how to communicate with a global audience!
답글삭제アミさん、I think everything you said was insightful and valid. However, I do believe that within communication, the interpreter does not need to understand the exact message that was conveyed. For example, many pieces of artwork are subject to multiple interpretations and they are very much a form of communication.
